Security Window Film: A Different Kind of Film Hero

March 13, 2012 | 3 comments

You’ve probably seen an adrenaline-filled action movie where the hero grabs a rope, swings into a window and crashes through to take down the bad guy. Hopefully, you don’t have any stunt men hurling themselves at your windows. But windows do come under attack from severe storms, earthquakes, high winds or maybe just a stray fastball from your neighbor’s kids. Security window film can help protect your windows and the people behind them.

When a window not protected by security film shatters, it can send dangerous shards of glass flying, which can cause injuries and leave your home or business exposed to the elements.

But safety window film helps keep the glass securely in place and can actually help prevent shards of glass from leaving your window at all  – even from this bomb blast.

Violent Storms

Security film for windows helps protect windows from flying debris in intense storms. And if your window should break, the window film can help hold the glass securely in place to help keep wind and water out so it won’t damage your property.

Do you really think Security Window Film can help against earthquakes and tornadoes? Many people do not think so, but I cannot find any solid evidence to argue that it does.
